He is a music director and an established one at that. His work is well known and he has been labelled as an auteur due to what he has created via his directing.
His music videos contain dark concepts with little light, this could be to give off a dramatic effect to the audience and also to promote the horror genre to the audience and give them a kind of scare. The music Videos are meant to unsettle us and make us worried about what will come next while it also follows the beat of the music and the lyrics involved.
